Oasis has one of the quickest sign ups we’ve tried.
Once you’ve created a username and entered your email address you’re taken to one page where you can enter some information about yourself and select a few drop down answers to the standard questions about wanting kids, height, drinking etc. Be sure to not leave your introductory text too small though as the profile has to be approved before it goes live and if it’s on the empty side you’ll have to add some more to your description then re-submit it.
Besides, earning those tokens isn’t easy and straightforward.
Things get a little complicated when it comes to contacting someone.
So far Oasis has has a so-called ‘Tokens’ system in place to be used by free members if they want to send messages (or personalised contact requests as they are known on the site) but as we understand from their site they are in the process of removing the token-system as it was overly complicated. You have to pay 100 tokens for personalised contact requests (e.g messages) to change your profile team etc, and it is just too messy and a little annoying.
You get some tokens but considering it costs 500 tokens to see who has looked at your profile and a 1,000 to get search priority – you can go through your account quickly.
Oasis Dating is your run of the mill template dating website.
Most of the profiles aren’t really active, or they are out right fake.
